This is the welcoming committee of Liam’s school friends at the end of the epic ride – Liam is the alien-shirted blondie in the middle

I’m so proud of what Liam achieved on his bike ride – the stats above picture tell it all!

And they finished a day earlier than expected… Liam was driven!

My cousin Johann has written a detailed post about the journey, so I won’t repeat any of it here – I mainly wanted to say how proud I am, and to thank my friends here in the UK and SA who also sponsored his ride!!

With the contributions from the UK (about £160.00 once I’ve collected it all), my own contribution and what Liam raised with the help of my dad (his grandfather) he has reach more than 2/3rds of his target of R15,000 (£1,500) !
