There is an interesting article on the BBC Online website, dealing with the influence that genetics can have on a person’s predisposition to happiness.
Dr Alexander Weiss is quoted as saying:
“Although happiness is subject to a wide range of external influences we have found there is a heritable component of happiness which can be entirely explained by genetic architecture of personality.” “
It’s interesting to know this, as it explains the sometimes vast differences in nature between siblings and relatives – but our natures and levels of happiness are by no means fixed at any point. So wishing you a successful Personal Development journey!
